| | | Jan Matejko was a tiny fellow who left a giant mark on Cracow. He was a sweet chap who won the hearts of Cracovians through his stirring, patriotic paintings and his tireless work in promoting talented artists. It was Matejko who designed the murals in the church on the Main Market Square, and who founded the legendary Academy over the road from this flat. The Matejko apartment is small but perfectly formed. It's a lovely attic hideaway for a young couple and inexpensive by normal standards for this part of town. Cooking facilities, a shower and a location at the very heart of town provide all the ingredients for a memorable stay.  360 room panorama
