Christmas in Krakow As the last leaves of autumn begin to fall and those charming rustic landscapes start turning into something a bit less friendly, many of us would like nothing better than a bed, a television, and a st. bernard with a hefty supply of lemsips. But why hide from the snow? The winter's 5 month's long - get out there and enjoy it! Here in Krakow, winter is definitely the most beautiful time of the year. Covered in a blanket snow, the Old Town seems like it might as well have leaped straight out of the Nutcracker ballet. The highlight of the holiday season is the Christmas Market, with heaps of traditional gifts, folk decorations, and of course plenty of Polish sausages straight from the grill. Certainly the fantastic traditional mulled wine (flavored with honey and spices) is not bad way to keep warm either! Of course you'll need a place to warm your toes in between those romantic strolls, and that's where we come in. We have plenty of cosy and comfortable apartments right in the heart of the Old Town, so the markets are only a few steps away!
